Vets Medallion Program
Below are some links to our veterans and first responders to help bridge the gap between military life and civilian life. These sources are for employers as well as veterans. These are some great resources for employers to help identify programs that are available for your business to brings veterans on board.
First responders are also encouraged to review programs such as The Warriors Journey. This program helps first responders cope with challenges in their lives. This program is also looking for Connectors, people with the same life experience who can help the first responder through those life challenges.
Above all, if these programs are not a fit for you at this time, please pass this information on. These resources are not easily attained and not everybody who can use these resources knows they are available.

https://skillbridge.osd.mil/contacts.htm This is a program the military has where individuals who are looking to get out can come to work for an organization and work for 3-6 months for free (the military pays them). During that internship, you can basically interview them and find out if they are a good fit for your organization. If so, then you can hire them.
